MC Digital Realty and Seren Juno Network Launch Strategic Partnership to Connect Data Centers and Trans-Pacific JUNO Cable

Tokyo, Japan – September 18, 2025 – MC Digital Realty, Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Kosei Hatakeyama; “MC Digital Realty”), which provides data center, colocation, and interconnection services in Japan, and Seren Juno Network Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and CEO: Yoshio Sato; “Seren”), today announced the launch of a strategic partnership that harnesses the synergy between MC Digital Realty’s data center campuses and Seren’s trans-Pacific submarine cable system, JUNO. This partnership will enable customers at MC Digital Realty’s NRT campus (Inzai city, Chiba Prefecture) and KIX campus (Ibaraki city and Minoh city, Osaka Prefecture) to rapidly deploy high-capacity, low-latency international connectivity via the JUNO cable.
Submarine cables are increasingly recognized worldwide as vital infrastructure supporting the rapidly expanding global digital economy. Situated between the United States and other Asian countries, Japan plays a critical role as a data hub for the Asia-Pacific region. Through this collaboration, customers of MC Digital Realty, whose data centers are in the Tokyo metropolitan area and the Kansai region, two of Asia’s largest data hubs, will gain enhanced connectivity to data centers and customer sites in North America and worldwide. This will further accelerate the utilization of large-scale data, which is essential for AI adoption, innovation, and digital transformation. In addition, overseas customers will be able to expand their AI businesses in Asia by connecting to MC Digital Realty’s AI-ready data centers via the JUNO cable.
