Tokyo, Japan – May 30, 2025 – Seren Juno Network Co., Ltd. today announced that the JUNO Submarine Cable System, a new trans-Pacific submarine cable connecting Japan and the United States, has officially achieved Point-of-Presence (PoP) to PoP Ready for Service (RFS) status. This includes the completion of terrestrial backhaul connectivity on both the Japanese and the U.S. sides.

With undersea cables accounting for more than 99% of international data traffic, JUNO is a high-capacity submarine cable system designed to meet the growing demand for global data connectivity. The system lands in Minamiboso (Chiba) and Shima (Mie) in Japan, and Grover Beach (California) in the United States, and provides seamless end-to-end connectivity to major PoPs in Tokyo , Osaka , Los Angeles , and San Jose .
